Best waterpark in Gran Canaria: our opinion
Gran Canaria’s water parks offer different experiences. Here’s our advice to help you find what you’re looking for:
For the most complete and varied parkwe recommend Aqualand Maspalomas.
This is the island’s largest water park. We loved the diversity of the attractions, suitable for toddlers and thrill-seeking teenagers alike. The Congo River space offers a successful immersive experience.
Its strong point is its location in the south of the island, close to the main tourist areas.

For a more intimate ambience in a natural settingopt for Lago Oasis Taurito.
The park features a man-made lake surrounded by tropical vegetation. We appreciate its quieter atmosphere and reasonable size, which means we can keep an eye on the children.
It’s perfect for families looking for a relaxing day out without the crowds.
For a complementary beach activityFun Park Ocean at Playa Amadores is ideal.
It’s not a traditional water park, but rather a giant inflatable structure on the water. Children love to jump, climb and launch themselves down floating slides. It’s an excellent complement to a day at the beach.
Beware: this is a physical activity that requires swimming skills.
