What you can see
A Canary Island date tree

At the entrance to the garden, we found a Canary Island date tree. This majestic palm tree is emblematic of Tenerife and a symbol of the local vegetation. Its imposing size and graceful leaves welcome visitors with elegance.
Typical Canary Island dragon trees

A little further on, we were able to admire a Canary Island dragon tree. It can be recognized by its dense crown of long, linear leaves above its tall, rough-barked trunk. Behind it, a Mexican Palm seemed to fit in perfectly with the exoticism of the garden.
OUR TIPS TO RENT A CAR IN Tenerife
- Compare prices on our preferred platform: DiscoverCars – one of the best rated sites.
- If you’re planning to explore the mountains, don ‘t take the smallest cars. A more powerful engine will be more comfortable.
- But don’t take too big a car either, as some roads are narrow.
- There’s a lot of demand and it’s an island, so book early.

Gooseneck agaves

We were most charmed by the gooseneck agaves, with their long, curving stems. They are truly spectacular. Some specimens were in flower at the time of our visit.
A sensory trail

The garden’s sensory trail really intrigued us. It’s an immersive barefoot experience on a variety of surfaces such as sand, gravel, pebbles or bark. While stimulating the senses, the course encourages a soothing connection with the environment.
Panoramic ocean views

At the far end of the garden, we enjoyed a splendid panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. This unique setting offered us a moment of contemplation, ideal to recharge our batteries in the middle of the city.
