Tenerife has a wide choice of hotels with wonderful sea views, and some even have their feet in the sand or water!

1. Hotel Corales Beach – Royal Hideaway (La Caleta)

Why stay there?
With its bright, contemporary architecture, Hotel Corales Beach stands out from other Costa Adeje establishments. Nestling to the north of the resort at La Caleta, it enjoys a quieter, more peaceful atmosphere. This haven of peace offers exceptional amenities such as spacious suites with private terraces, a top-of-the-range spa offering holistic treatments, and a whole concept based around local gastronomy. These include the one-star Restaurant San-Hô, and the illustrious 2-star Restaurant El Rincón de Juan Carlos.

Beach and pool access
Located on the seafront, the hotel is a 5-minute walk from Playa de la Enramada.
The facility boasts several pools, including a superb panoramic one. Comfortable deckchairs let you sit by the water and enjoy the view.

2. Adrián Hotels Jardines de Nivaria (Costa Adeje)

Why stay there?
Located just north of Playa de Fañabé, this luxury hotel charmed us with its tranquility and location. In fact, it’s one of our picks for the best resorts in Costa Adeje! Ideal for relaxation, it boasts 2 superb outdoor pools, one with a small waterfall, as well as private access to the beach.
We really liked our room, with its traditional Canary Island decor and pleasant balcony. We enjoyed a breathtaking view of the entire resort and the waterfront. Hotel Jardines de Nivaria offers guests all the facilities they need for a rejuvenating stay, including a beauty and wellness area.

Beach and pool access
You’ll enjoy private elevator access to the promenade overlooking Playa de Fañabé. Alternatively, Playa del Duque is just an 8-minute walk from the hotel.

3. Klayman Diamond Hotel (Los Gigantes)

Why stay there?
Completely renovated in 2017, this intimate aparthotel with 35 apartments boasts a warm atmosphere thanks to a particularly attentive team. The modern decor in shades of gray and green creates a soothing atmosphere, enhanced by careful lighting. We enjoyed our apartment’s fully equipped kitchen and spacious balcony overlooking the ocean. Excellent value for money, with all the comforts you need for a self-catering stay.

Why stay there?
Hotel Cleopatra Palace offers a unique experience thanks to its Roman-inspired decor and privileged location overlooking Playa del Camisón. In our opinion, this is the best beachfront establishment in Playa de las Américas! Our room was particularly impressive, with its private balcony featuring a small pool and outdoor shower, offering spectacular ocean views. From our bed, we were lulled by the soothing sound of the waves. The sunrises and sunsets over the water were truly breathtaking!

5. Hotel Bahia del Duque (Costa Adeje)

Why stay there?
Overlooking Playa del Duque, one of the resort’s most beautiful beaches, this 5-star hotel is distinguished by its elegant Canarian architecture and exceptional service. In our opinion, this is one of the best luxury hotels in Costa Adeje! The resort is home to the star-rated Restaurant Nub and other fine restaurants.
Disconnection is total in this tropical oasis nestled on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Lose yourself in its lush gardens, or enjoy a massage in its wellness center! In a little extravagance, the establishment boasts an astronomical observatory. How about some star gazing after dark?

The hotel has direct access to the seafront promenade overlooking Playa del Duque, and is also a 15-minute walk from Playa de Fañabé.
Equipped with 5 magnificent pools, including one for children, the establishment is ideal for families in search of relaxation and entertainment!

Why stay there?
This large resort with 432 rooms spread over 8 floors offers a comfortable experience just a stone’s throw from Playa de la Arena. The discreet decor, with white furniture and light wood, is complemented by lush greenery. The atmosphere is almost tropical. Spacious, bright rooms, each with its own terrace or balcony. The hotel boasts multiple pools, including an infinity pool reserved for Platinum guests.

7. Hotel Spring Arona Gran (Los Cristianos)

Why stay there?
Overlooking the Los Cristianos seafront promenade, the Spring Arona Gran Hotel captivates with its upscale atmosphere and breathtaking views of the bay. We loved the plant decoration of the gigantic common areas. It gives them a jungle feel.
The hotel has 391 rooms with a warm, uncluttered style. The culinary experience is varied, with two restaurants including a buffet, and three bars including a piano bar with live concerts. How about sipping a cocktail and watching the sunset from the terrace bar? And for the more sporty, there’s a large gym overlooking the ocean.

Why stay there?
This 5-star beachfront palace transported us to Mexico with its decor inspired by the conquistador Hernán Cortés. We were seduced by the harmonious blend of contemporary luxury and Mexican cultural influences. The resort boasts an exclusive beach club with a natural pool facing the ocean. Gourmets will particularly appreciate the star-rated Restaurant Taste 1973. Would you be tempted by the ultimate luxury experience during your stay in Playa de las Américas?

9. Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur (Los Cristianos)

Why stay there?
Another adults-only establishment above Playa de Los Tarajales is the Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur. We liked the sober, elegant decor in neutral tones, with a few touches of blue to create a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s 3 restaurants offer a wide range of gastronomic delights.
Breakfasts are varied and include vegetarian and gluten-free options. Like us, you can enjoy evenings on the rooftop with its panoramic views. For wellness enthusiasts, there’s the Despacio Beauty Center spa, with sauna, steam room, hairdressing salon and treatments.

10. Hotel Tigaiga (Puerto de la Cruz)

Why stay there?
We spent a very good night at Hotel Tigaiga. This 4-star establishment, surrounded by tropical gardens, exudes calm and serenity. There was even a cactus garden! Thanks to its hilltop location in the Malpais district, we had a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and the rest of the city from our room and its pleasant balcony. The decor was modern, with green hues in harmony with the surrounding vegetation. Last but not least, this hotel includes quality amenities, such as a restaurant, and even a ping-pong table!

11. Hotel Dreams Jardin Tropical Resort & Spa (Costa Adeje)

Why stay there?
This large, upscale resort overlooks the Costa Adeje promenade and the ocean. We particularly liked the large, curving pool, which lights up at night. The resort’s organic architecture and refined decor totally won us over!
Our room was elegantly appointed, with its natural hues and touches of navy blue. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxing. From our balcony, we had an unobstructed view of the seafront. We loved waking up in this idyllic setting. We did, however, note a few areas for improvement in terms of hotel service and staff.

The hotel is equidistant from Playa de la Pinta and Playa del Bobo. It’s about a 10-minute walk to reach them.
The facility boasts a vast, organic outdoor pool that winds its way through avenues of tropical plants, as well as a children’s pool.

Exclusively for adults, this luxury resort overlooks Playa del Duque and cultivates the art of well-being. True to its name, Hotel JOIA El Mirador offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel also boasts top-quality facilities: a splendid outdoor swimming pool, a huge spa, and several restaurants. It has developed a complete high-end offering to meet its customers’ requirements. A choice address for couples looking for a romantic cocoon by the water!

Renovated in 2019, this 406-room adults-only resort occupies a privileged position on the city’s most advanced point. We were dazzled by the breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs from virtually every area of the hotel. The minimalist decor in light tones enhances the spectacular panorama. The four swimming pools offer a variety of relaxing environments, while the spa invites total relaxation. How about a romantic dinner in one of our two panoramic restaurants?

Why stay there?
Ideally located between Playa del Duque and Playa de Fañabé, this prestigious resort is right on the seafront. It has a superb panoramic bar, from which you can contemplate magnificent sunsets.
This establishment offers half-board, including breakfast and dinner, so you don’t have to worry about mealtimes! Your children aged 4 to 7 will have fun at the mini-club while you enjoy a relaxing treatment at the wellness center. It’s the ideal place for the whole family to relax. It’s sure to please young and old alike!

Why stay there?
Nestled north of Playa de Fañabé, Hotel JOIA Salomé overlooks Costa Adeje’s seafront promenade. Designed exclusively for adults, it offers an intimate atmosphere ideal for a romantic getaway. Couples will appreciate the beach area with deckchairs and parasols, as well as the wellness center where they can enjoy treatments and massages.
To make your stay all the more enjoyable, opt for the all-inclusive package for total peace of mind. The resort’s decor is refined and uncluttered in light tones. The reception area is visually busier, but very warm, especially at Christmas time!

In our opinion, this is the best beachfront hotel for families in Costa Adeje! This resort resembles a mini-park for children. It has 3 pools with slides, a small climbing wall, an indoor playroom and an outdoor playground. The facility also offers a program of educational and leisure activities. For your part, you’ll appreciate the adults-only area, including a panoramic whirlpool bath, and the top-of-the-range facilities on offer. The optional all-inclusive package allows you to enjoy your stay to the full without having to worry about meals. This guarantees a serene and fulfilling vacation for all family members. The hotel overlooks Playa del Bobo, where it boasts a private beach area with sun loungers and parasols. Designed with children in mind, the resort features 3 pools with slides of all shapes and colors, plus a large panoramic pool for adults.

On the heights of Los Gigantes, the panoramic views of the ocean, cliffs and island of La Gomera are exceptional. We noticed the contrast between the bright, modern common areas and some of the more traditionally charming rooms. Its location guarantees appreciable peace and quiet while remaining close to the main attractions. The Aqua gourmet restaurant offers refined local cuisine by chef Lucas Maes, to be savored as the sun sets. The icing on the cake: 2 heated outdoor pools and sea-view terraces (deckchairs and parasols provided) just a 15-minute walk from the marina.

We enjoyed the variety of facilities, including 6 pools spread throughout the resort: 3 family pools, 2 baby pools, 1 pool with slide. The decor is neutral, occasionally enlivened by children’s themes in certain rooms or other areas dedicated to children, such as the Landi Mini Club. The 7 food and beverage outlets offer a variety of pleasures throughout your stay.

Aparthotel Parque Santiago III Official – Family friendly (Playa de Las Américas)

Ideally located along the seafront promenade, this apartment complex is like a small village within Playa de las Américas, with direct access to the seafront promenade that leads to Playa del Camisón in just a 5-minute walk. Each accommodation is equipped with a kitchen and a balcony or terrace. The resort offers a host of facilities for the whole family, including seawater pools (one of which is heated), a water park with children’s slides, mini-golf and a wellness area. We particularly appreciate its privileged location, which means you can enjoy your vacation without needing a car. It’s the ideal place to enjoy a dynamic yet relaxing stay!

Hotel Best Semiramis (Puerto de la Cruz)

This beachfront hotel in Puerto de la Cruz caught our eye. Indeed, it is impressive because it has many storeys and is built on the edge of a cliff. It offers luxury amenities, as evidenced by its 2 outdoor pools surrounded by gardens, or its well-equipped spa (sauna, Jacuzzi, hammam, massages). Inside, the decor is chic and sober. The ocean views are exceptional. The restaurant offers both Mediterranean and international dishes, as does the pool bar. Note, however, that the nearest beach (Playa de Martiánez) is a 25-minute walk away (5 minutes by car).
