1. Avangard Restaurant
Slightly uptown, Restaurant Avangard is our most upscale dining experience in Los Cristianos. The setting is modern and welcoming, the decor minimalist and woody, and theambiance sophisticated and warm. Perfect for enjoying a refined dinner while discovering a contemporary interpretation of local gastronomy.
This is a celebration of the richness of Canarian cuisine. Traditional dishes are revisited with creativity, such as paella with black rice or octopus with red sauce. We didn’t forget the cheeses, served with nuts and dried fruit, and complemented by a carefully selected wine list, with Canarian references of course.

2. Restaurant El Pincho
On the front line of Playa de las Vistas, we really enjoyed the elevated terrace of Restaurant El Pincho. It overlooks the sea like a small balcony over the ocean, allowing you to enjoy the sea breeze in the shade of a huge awning. The decor is simple, white and unpretentious. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
The restaurant offers a wide range of cuisine, from quality Spanish tapas to cocktails. We had spotted a lobster paella on the menu, but opted instead for ravioli stuffed with crayfish. El Pincho is also famous for its sangria and musical evenings where you can listen to Spanish guitar while admiring the sunset.

3. Restaurant El Pescaito
Restaurant Pescaito is a family-run restaurant specializing in Canarian and Andalucia cuisine, with a focus on fish. In our opinion, it’s a truly local experience with a warm, authentic atmosphere. The decor is simple, but you’ll have a great time.
We noted a fine variety of fresh seafood: squid, cuttlefish, shrimp… A shrimp omelette is also on the menu, as is the freshly caught grilled fish of the day. All accompanied by homemade tapas and gazpacho. The paellas are renowned for being fantastic (no less!) and are prepared to order.

4. Luxalad Restaurant
In Los Cristianos since 2022, Luxalad Restaurant is a franchise of an innovative fast-food concept born in Belgium. The idea that a snack can also be a healthy meal. The atmosphere is modern, with a clean, bright design: sunny colors and light, untreated wood. You can eat in or take away.
As the name suggests, we found a nice variety of salads to compose yourself: 1 base, vitamins, proteins and a choice of sauces, with gluten-free, vegan or halal options. Banana Bread is famous. Products are local and organic. The formula is simple, basic and eco-responsible.

- If you’re planning to explore the mountains, don ‘t take the smallest cars. A more powerful engine will be more comfortable.
- But don’t take too big a car either, as some roads are narrow.

5. Restaurant Sal Fina
Still in the pedestrian streets, the Sal Fina restaurant is renowned for its warm atmosphere and tasteful decor. It was its shady terrace that caught our eye. It creates a welcoming atmosphere. The establishment successfully combines Italian style with a modern touch, offering a pleasant setting for dining.
What sets Restaurant Sal Fina apart is the quality of its cuisine, especially its burgers, which are considered exceptional by customers. Dishes are prepared with great attention to detail, showcasing varied flavors and fresh ingredients. The menu also offers vegetarian options.

6. Restaurant Svenska Kyrkan
We found this to be a rather unique experience in Los Cristianos: the Svenska Kyrkan Swedish Church houses a restaurant where you can have lunch. It’s a warm meeting place for Tenerife’s well-established Scandinavian community. The restaurant’s space is rather spartan, but the atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented.
Unsurprisingly, the menu is Swedish: meatballs, smashburgers, waffles… We also saw sandwiches and quiches, and above all some very tempting home-made pastries, including semla, a brioche filled with marzipan and cream. The daily special is just over €10.

7. Kinsella’s Restaurant
At the eastern tip of Playa de Los Cristianos, we found Kinsella’s Restaurant, an authentic Irish pub that attracts locals and tourists alike. The view from the terrace overlooks the beach and the harbor across the bay. The atmosphere is lively, especially in the evenings, with live concerts, soccer matches on the big screen and karaoke.
Kinsella’s offers typical pub dishes such as fish and chips and burgers. And of course, a wide range of draught beers, including Guinness, and cocktails.

8. Loro Blanco Restaurant
On a small pedestrian street in the center of town leading down to the beach, we spotted Restaurant Loro Blanco, an already well-known cocktail bar that only recently opened its doors. The relaxed atmosphere and modern, elegant decor are ideal for relaxing with friends. The place specializes in creative cocktails and tasty tapas. Also on the menu: mixed charcuterie and cheese boards. Happy hour from 6pm to 8pm, for cocktails at reduced prices.

9. Restaurant El Ventorrillo
Nestled in the pedestrian streets of Los Cristianos, we found El Ventorrillo to be a friendly restaurant that exudesauthenticity. The rustic decor evokes the charm of Canarian taverns. The warm ambience is ideal for an evening out with family and friends, with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere.
In terms of cuisine, El Ventorrillo celebrates Canarian gastronomy with generous, tasty dishes. The menu features local specialties such as papas arrugadas, fresh fish and grilled meats. A selection of regional wines completes the experience. Guaranteed immersion in the Canary Islands’ taste culture.

10. Restaurant Con Limon y Sal Sur
Just above Playa de Los Cristianos, we spotted this Mexican restaurant, also found in Santa Cruz and La Laguna. The first thing that caught our eye was its colorful decor, all neon in the colors of Mexico. It’s hard to pass by without seeing it. We thought it an ideal place to start the evening.
Here you’ll find all the great classics of Mexican cuisine. Tacos, nachos, quesadillas and other corn-based delights are sure to delight your taste buds. And for purists, don’t miss the Chili con Carne! If Mexican beers are also on the menu, we might as well start with a Margherita.

Established on a small beachfront square, Restaurant Abordo is a renowned seafood restaurant, almost an institution. We loved its authentic nautical decor. The atmosphere is very friendly. The menu features fresh, high-quality seafood and fish. Specialties include fried octopus, seafood paella and grilled fish of the day. The restaurant also serves tapas.

12. Restaurant The Vault
Restaurant The Vault is actually a bar, whose industrial-style decor we loved, with its mix of brick, lacquered wood and polished brass. The atmosphere is both chic and relaxed. The bar regularly features live music, and the atmosphere can be lively. The menu features British breakfasts, burgers and Tex-Mex specialties. On the drinks front, the bar stands out for its creative cocktails and carefully selected craft beers.

It was the bright, even flashy (especially at night) colors of Restaurant Bubax that first caught our eye. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, family-like even. On the menu are international options, such as burgers, pizzas or roast steak and chicken, and a selection of Belgian beers. Prices are very reasonable. Simple and effective.

Restaurant Roxanne, high above Playa de Los Cristianos, offers a breathtaking view of the sea and harbor. In a friendly, elegant atmosphere, you can enjoy a varied cuisine combining local, international and tapas dishes. Ideal for relaxing over an elaborate cocktail and admiring the sunset, after a day of sightseeing.
