Restaurant Donaire seduced us with its elegant setting overlooking the ocean. Its contemporary decor in natural tones creates a sophisticated yet warm ambience. The large bay window floods the space with natural light and offers spectacular views of the Adeje coastline. The cuisine of chef Jesús Camacho, famous for his pastries, offers a modern, creative approach.

We were particularly impressed by the 8-course tasting menu, where each dish tells an island story. The Atlantic bluefin tuna, served with a local sweet potato emulsion and a touch of revisited mojo verde, remains a highlight of our experience. As for the desserts, they demonstrate remarkable technical mastery!

Their concept is based on a cultural bridge between their Chilean and Italian roots, enriched by Canarian traditions. They focus on Tenerife’s local produce to offer creative dishes that honor the culinary traditions of their respective countries while celebrating their adopted homeland.

Directly facing the ocean, the restaurant’s terrace offers an idyllic setting! The relaxed yet elegant atmosphere makes it an ideal place for a sunny lunch or a romantic dinner at sunset. The menu features freshly caught fish and local seafood, enhanced by a creative approach.

We really enjoyed the red tuna tataki with coconut and wasabi sauce. But the undeniable star of our meal was the paella with Galician blue lobster, freshly caught and precisely prepared. The homemade pistachio bread, served with 2 artisanal butters – one with basil and mint, the other with tomato – is a simple but memorable starter that testifies to our attention to detail.
