Why stay at Hotel Cordial La Peregrina?
The hotel is an ideal choice for spending a few days in Las Palmas. In our opinion, it’s one of the capital’s most beautiful hotels.
- Its location in the heart of the historic center is perfect for enjoying the city’s many attractions. We were able to visit the main monuments and museums in the city center on foot from the hotel.
- The building is splendid. It’s an old listed colonial house with state-of-the-art facilities. For us, it was the assurance of a pleasant stay, far from any worries.
- The rooftop pool is fantastic! We loved cooling off here after a full day’s sightseeing, against the backdrop of the city’s rooftops and the main buildings of the surrounding historic center.

Is Hotel Cordial La Peregrina worth it? Our review
The location is excellent, with most downtown attractions within easy reach. For those of us who love old buildings, this former colonial house is a real surprise. Especially as the interior fittings are very modern. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. And, of course, the swimming pool, with its incredible view of the old town, is an unprecedented luxury, right in the heart of the historic center.

Decoration and atmosphere
The architecture of the building is typical of colonial-style houses in the Canary Islands. The contrast with the very modern interior design intrigued us. The lines are pure, the materials sometimes raw, and the colors neutral, with touches of deep blue and a few green plants.
A spirit and tones that we found again in the bedrooms, with the addition of large panels of light wood for a touch of warmth and mirrors for a feeling of space. The resulting atmosphere is relaxing, almost Zen-like.
The room
Like the rest of the hotel, the decoration of our room was modern. The atmosphere was darker, however. It has to be said that the windows overlooked an alley with no view. The ceiling was high and the lighting created an interesting atmosphere.
We found several amenities in the room, including a kettle and coffee machine. There were also bluish mugs to match the decor. 2 bottles of water were waiting for us in the minibar fridge.

The bathroom
The bathroom wasn’t very large, and its decoration was modern, in the same spirit as that of the bedroom. We had a shower and the water pressure was excellent.
The hygiene products available to us were from Prija, an Italian vegan cosmetics brand committed to eliminating animal testing.
The breakfast
Our flight was very early, so we didn’t get to try out the breakfast. But we could see that it was a buffet breakfast and that the room under the glass roof was very bright.
Equipment and common areas
The hotel has a small heated rooftop pool with sun loungers and parasols. It’s a real asset in the heart of the historic center of Las Palmas. Ideal for relaxing and refreshing after a day of sightseeing.
We also found a small fitness room with Technogym equipment. Yet another opportunity to take care of yourself at our facility.
The restoration
The hotel features a cocktail bar, Rocktop La Peregrina. It is located on the roof terrace, next to the swimming pool.

Parking
The hotel does not have its own parking lot. The nearest parking lot, Mercado de Vegueta, is an 8-minute walk away.
For people with reduced mobility
The hotel is accessible to disabled guests and has an elevator to the upper floors. However, the pool does not have any suitable equipment.
Is Hotel Cordial La Peregrina family-friendly?
Children are welcome (cots are available on request), but we didn’t see any other services or facilities particularly dedicated to families and children. The hotel is very popular with couples.
