Why stay there?
Designed for families, this unusual resort impressed us with the quality of its leisure facilities. It boasts a water park that children love, and a mini-adventure park where they can try their hand at rock climbing. Certain areas of the resort are reserved exclusively for adults, so you can spend some quality time together during your vacation.
It is also home to Restaurant Donaire, one of our favourite restaurants in Costa Adeje!

2. Flamingo Suites Boutique Hotel (Adeje)

Why stay there?
Both central and quiet, this human-scale residence is right in the heart of the dynamic seaside resort. This charming little cocoon is just a few meters from Playa de la Pinta and Puerto Colón, the starting point for dolphin-watching excursions – see activity details.
Unlike Costa Adeje’s larger resorts, this small boutique hotel offers a small but qualitative selection of just 18 suites. Spacious and elegant, they are equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen, giving you total autonomy during your stay. The decor, with its romantic influences, is bright and comforting.

Why stay there?
Located just north of Playa de Fañabé, this luxury hotel charmed us with its tranquility and location. In fact, it’s one of our picks for the best resorts in Costa Adeje! Ideal for relaxation, it boasts 2 superb outdoor pools, one with a small waterfall, as well as private access to the beach.
We really liked our room, with its traditional Canary Island decor and pleasant balcony. We enjoyed a breathtaking view of the entire resort and the waterfront. Why stay there?
This large resort with 432 rooms spread over 8 floors offers a comfortable experience just a stone’s throw from Playa de la Arena. The discreet decor, with white furniture and light wood, is complemented by lush greenery. The atmosphere is almost tropical. Spacious, bright rooms, each with its own terrace or balcony. The hotel boasts a number of pools, including an infinity pool reserved for Platinum guests and one with a water slide. We highly recommend this establishment to families for its many facilities and activities for young and old alike!

This family-friendly complex offers a wide range of activities for children, as well as spectacular sea views. We enjoyed the variety of facilities, including six swimming pools spread throughout the resort. The decor is neutral, occasionally enlivened by children’s themes in certain rooms or other areas dedicated to children, such as the Landi Mini-club. The seven food and beverage outlets offer a variety of pleasures throughout your stay.

Why stay there?
On the heights of Los Cristianos, the Beverly Hills Heights Hotel is a 3-star aparthotel withAndalucia-inspired architecture. We immediately loved its whitewashed walls and azulejo-style tiling. Its location is ideal for hiking enthusiasts, with the mountains starting right behind the establishment.
The apartments have all modern comforts, and their decoration contrasts with the more traditional communal areas. Just 1km from the beach, the hotel is an excellent compromise between tranquility and proximity to activities. How about a session in the fitness room before taking advantage of the two outdoor pools?

Why stay there?
On a hillside between Montaña de Guaza and Golf de Las Americas, Hotel Ona Los Claveles offers a tranquil ambience perfect for relaxation. We liked its slightly old-fashioned but charming decor, with fully-equipped apartments. Some have a private terrace or patio where you can enjoy the moment in complete privacy.
The complex offers family-friendly services, including a swimming pool for the little ones. Accessibility is also excellent, with ramps and elevators to facilitate movement in all areas.

8. Hollywood Mirage Hotel (Los Cristianos)

Why stay there?
Located at the foot of Montaña de Guaza, Hotel Hollywood Mirage pays tribute to cinema Made in Hollywood. The apartments echo the names of actors and actresses from thegolden age of American cinema, such as Marilyn Monroe. We loved its Hispanic architecture.
Inside, the decor is more modern, all white walls and light wood. The equipment is modern. For the full experience, the Spa by Hollywood and El Bistro restaurant are a must. Not to mention the spectacular views over Los Cristianos Bay and the island of La Gomera.

Families will particularly appreciate the large swimming pools surrounded by palm trees, and the many play areas and activities for children. Why stay there?
This large, upscale resort overlooks the Costa Adeje promenade and the ocean. We particularly liked the large, curving pool, which lights up at night. The resort’s organic architecture and refined decor totally won us over!
Our room was elegantly appointed, with its natural hues and touches of navy blue. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxing. From our balcony, we had an unobstructed view of the seafront. In our opinion, this is the best beachfront hotel for families in Costa Adeje! This resort resembles a mini-park for children. It has 3 pools with slides, a small climbing wall, an indoor playroom and an outdoor playground. The facility also offers a program of educational and leisure activities. For your part, you’ll appreciate the adults-only area, including a panoramic whirlpool bath, and the top-of-the-range facilities on offer. The optional all-inclusive package allows you to enjoy your stay to the full without having to worry about meals. This guarantees a serene and fulfilling vacation for all family members.

Hotel Puerto Palace (Puerto de la Cruz)

In our opinion, the Puerto Palace offers many advantages. With its many facilities, this is a resort hotel of choice. Here you can take part in a range of sporting activities (tennis, miniature golf, table tennis) and enjoy a show in the grand salon. You’ll notice a chic, designer decor. We found the exteriors very pleasant, not only for the lush greenery but also, and above all, for the swimming pools. One of them even has a fountain! Add to this the location in the quiet Malpais district, and you’re sure to have a great vacation!

Hotel Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey (Santa Cruz)

The only 5-star hotel in Santa Cruz, this establishment has embodied Canarian colonial elegance since 1950. Nestled along the famous Rambla de Santa Cruz next to Parc García Sanabria, we fell under the spell of its interior courtyard adorned with climbing plants. We were particularly taken with its refined yet traditional decor, combining noble materials, moldings and antique furniture. Hotel Grand Mencey is also home to Restaurant Papa Negra, and 3 other restaurants. In addition to its superb outdoor swimming pool, it hides a magnificent spa area where you can recharge your batteries after a long day of sightseeing!
