Organize your visits by geographical area. And make choices!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With only 4 days available, we recommend you choose between the north and the south. You&#8217;ll see two itineraries below. <strong>The north for more exploration, the south for more relaxation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The weather varies greatly in different parts of Tenerife, creating different microclimates. We fell in love with this garden, which focuses on trees. The garden is also home to rare exotic plants that you won&#8217;t see anywhere else in Europe. The road to Las Ca\u00f1adas is an experience in itself, as you cross the sea of clouds into a breathtaking lunar landscape. The first light of day sublimates the colors of the volcanic rocks, creating an almost unreal atmosphere.<br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/canarias-lovers.com\/en\/national-park-teide-tenerife-attractions-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">See our complete park guide<\/a> to choose your stops.<br\/>But here are our 3 recommendations:<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stop 1 &#8211; Mirador Llano de Ucanca<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Canarias-Lovers\/Tenerife\/Teide\/Mirador-Llano-de-Ucanca\/i-V4M47JB\/0\/LP79QbQWH97rmTPfH6rsGMphBRHzFGRdbk57mkcPV\/L\/Mirador-Llano-Ucanca-L.jpg\" alt=\"Mirador Llano de Ucanca\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Our favourite viewpoint <a href=\"https:\/\/canarias-lovers.com\/en\/mirador-llano-de-ucanca-tenerife\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mirador Llano de Ucanca<\/a>, with the vast desert plain, the Roques de Garcia in the middle ground and the volcano in the background. The ochre and reddish colors of the plain vary according to the light of day, creating different moods at every hour.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stop 2 &#8211; Roques de Garc\u00eda<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Canarias-Lovers\/Tenerife\/Best-of\/i-pvFVTGs\/0\/KKDmsjHdDTQkfgZWxWqQ2phTkKtkWmQTZw8XtMgZb\/L\/parc-national-teide-tenerife-L.jpg\" alt=\"walk to Roques de Garc&#xED;a\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The Roques de Garc\u00eda are a spectacular group of rock formations. The most famous, El Roque Cinchado, stands proudly with Mount Teide in the background. This is one of the island&#8217;s most emblematic views.  <br\/>You can just walk a little flat, or take a 3.5 km circular hike around these formations, and enjoy the different perspectives.<br\/>Duration: 1h-1h30 for the complete loop, but you can walk just part of the way.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stop 3 &#8211; Minas de San Jos\u00e9<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Canarias-Lovers\/Tenerife\/Best\/Hikes-nature\/i-jPgsvSB\/0\/LxdXm87b5PvNhZpKhbrwLKKM5jQXGxThZ4KPJTW8k\/L\/Parque-teide-minas-san-jose-L.jpg\" alt=\"Minas de San Jose\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Minas de San Jos\u00e9 is a former mining area that bears witness to the region&#8217;s intense volcanic activity. We were surprised by the lunar atmosphere of the landscapes, with smooth or stony surfaces and lots of color.<br\/>Traces of mining operations blend harmoniously with the natural landscape. As you wind your way around the hairpin bends, you&#8217;ll discover breathtaking panoramas of mountains and valleys. Every turn offers a new perspective on this landscape, with the ocean sometimes looming on the horizon.<br\/>This road is steep, winding and sometimes narrow.
