Beyond its charming historic heart, we were won over by the must-see Punta de Teno, with its breathtaking views of the Los Gigantes cliffs. Exploring the surrounding area, we also discovered picturesque hamlets and the spectacular TF-436 scenic route, which winds through breathtaking natural landscapes.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Stroll_through_the_historic_center\"><\/span>1. In the center, you&#8217;ll notice a bandstand where concerts are sometimes held, and in a corner nestles the Tourist Office. If you want to explore the hiking trails and enjoy the region to the full, allow 2 days or more.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Tenerife has a pleasant year-round climate. We recommend visiting outside the months of July and August to avoid the tourist crowds.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tour direction and difficulty<\/h3>\n\n<p>We recommend you start in the historic center, then head for Punta de Teno, a real must-see destination. Then explore the natural pools and surrounding hamlets at your leisure.
