We were transported back in time to <a href=\"https:\/\/canarias-lovers.com\/en\/barranco-guayadeque-gran-canaria-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Barranco de Guayadeque<\/a>, this magnificent valley nestled in the center of <a href=\"https:\/\/canarias-lovers.com\/en\/best-things-to-do-gran-canaria-visit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gran Canaria<\/a> near<a href=\"https:\/\/canarias-lovers.com\/en\/best-things-to-do-aguimes-gran-canaria-visit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ag\u00fcimes<\/a>. Rooms devoted to the ravine&#8217;s geology and biodiversity will make you aware of its particular features. We also enjoyed the collections of artefacts and the informative panels on the troglodytic life of the Guanches, the island&#8217;s ancient inhabitants. A wide variety of plants and animals make the site an exceptional place to preserve. We found them instructive and attractive, with their lighting effects. A touching example of the craftsmanship of the old inhabitants.
