It&#8217;s an ideal place to spend a day or an entire holiday.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The access slope to the water is gentle, ideal for families. And there are kayak and pedal-boat rentals for couples and families.<br\/>This beach is also protected by seawalls, which keep the waters calm and make it ideal for swimming. We were very hopeful, and were lucky enough to see some dolphins. Los Gatos Archaeological Site Canada<\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Canarias-Lovers\/Gran-Canaria\/Best\/Archaeological-sites\/i-VDhGb8X\/0\/CJ4R2vPMsbdwVfXLWwmqL849zLGrWQHFKRDNVW2VF\/L\/canada-de-los-gatos-L.jpg\" alt=\"view of Canada from Los Gatos\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why visit?<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Canada de Los Gatos is one <a href=\"https:\/\/canarias-lovers.com\/en\/best-archaeological-sites-gran-canaria\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"774\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">of the island&#8217;s best-known sites<\/a>, both because it is located in the charming town of Puerto de Mogan and because you can climb up the cliff to see the layout of the village from above. We really appreciated this perspective.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this valley, the inhabitants found water and fertile soil, making it an ideal location for a coastal village.
