On the island of Tenerife, staying at the Hotel Cleopatra Palace in Playa de las Americas was a real experience. Ideally located on the seafront, the hotel is the perfect place to enjoy the beach and waterfront entertainment, while offering rooms with ocean views. The pool alone is a journey.
In this article, you’ll find our experience and plenty of photos to give you an idea.

This review is completely independent, we stayed anonymously and paid our bill in full.
Why stay at the Hotel Cleopatra Palace?
In our opinion, the Hotel Cleopatra Palace makes for an ideal stay, thanks to its 3 main assets:
- L’emplacement en front de mer pour profiter de la plage à quelques pas seulement de la chambre.

- La vue sur l’Atlantique permet d’admirer les magnifiques couchers de soleil depuis la terrasse de l’hôtel ou celle de la chambre.

- La piscine incroyable avec ses colonnes et ses statues qui lui donne un petit côté kitch.

Is the Hotel Cleopatra Palace worth it? Our review
Yes, the Hotel Cleopatra Palace is worth it! In our opinion, this is one of the best hotels in Playa de las Americas, and also our favorite because of its breathtaking ocean views and luxurious, kitsch ambiance. We had an incredible stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation experience in Tenerife.

Decoration and atmosphere
The decor is particularly grand. It’s a kitschy mix of Egyptian and Roman inspiration, with massive immaculate columns and wide black-and-white checkerboard tiling. We found it particularly spectacular, a far cry from modern minimalism. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who offered us a glass of refreshing fruit juice.

HAVE FUN IN TENERIFE: activities

The room
Our room at the Hotel Cleopatra Palace was relatively sober, decorated in shades of blue-gray and burgundy, with a white relief painting above the bed featuring a Roman or Egyptian-inspired motif of a soldier and his horse.

The room had a large balcony with a small private pool and shower. The sunrises and sunsets were magnificent, and we could hear the sound of the waves from our bed. The balcony also overlooked the beach below.
